Aliyah rolled over today!!!

J and I were playing with Aliyah today when she rolled over from her back to her tummy.  It is very unlikely for both parents to be there when a child does something for the first time and we were both pretty excited.  She wanted to show off and did it about three times in row:)  What should I say?!  We are just proud parents!!!

Aliyah's First Easter!

We went to Aiyah's grand parents house for Easter and pretty much spend the day there.  Aliyah is now used to taking long naps there so we are happy.  She only knew the crib at our house so she never wanted to take naps anywhere else for more than 30 min.  Here are some pictures taken in her Easter dress.                                                                                                                          

Dallas Zoo...

We went to the Dallas Zoo today with Aliyah...I know she is a little young to run around and enjoy it but we wanted to see if she would sit in her stroller and just enjoy watching the animals and she loved it.  Aliyah likes anywhere we take her as long as there is something to look around.  She was smiling and just having fun the whole two hours we were there.  Yeah it was past her nap time so she fall asleep on our way out:)                               

Aliyah's Cousin Eliana who was born on the same day!!!

We don't get a lot of pictures from the parents since this is their second child so I am a little behind posting Aliyah cousin's picture that was born the same day as Aliyah.  Yeah it was amazing...Our due date wasn't even the same but we happen to deliver the same day!!!  People say Eliana looks like Aliyah in this picture:)

Aliyah's 4-month Stats

As anticipated, we were told Aliyah is very healthy at her 4-month checkup.13.6 IBS (55 %ile) 25.25 inches (95th %ile)15.63 inch head circumference (30%ile) Yep, She is going to be TALL like her daddy or I guess like her mommy also:) She did pretty good this time with her vaccinations. Apparently, the oral stuff tasted gross, because she fought it pretty hard. She did great with the shots, though.

All in all, a great checkup. :)

16 Week- old! Almost FOUR months!!!

Aliyah has been so much fun lately.  I love how she poses when she takes professional pictures so I take her to get some pictures taken when I can.  I know it will be hard to do things once you have two kids so I try to do what I can now and we will see how it will be later when/if the second one comes:)

Changes in your hormone levels cause so many things that I can't even keep up with anymore:(

Aliyah is almost  4 months old and I just noticed hair coming out in clumps in the shower and freaked out. I felt so much better after I read this article written by a dermetologist that said all new moms experience hair loss.  I have heard that before but I thought I passed thru it since she was almost four months but apparently that is the time it starts:(  I liked my hair when it was in a resting phase since my hair was nice and thick.
